On Friday, April 13, the Comox Valley Art Gallery’s Youth Media Project will be screening Film For Thought, featuring a collection of short films from participants in the program at the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Ave, Courtenay. Doors open at 6:30pm for free snacks and mingling prior to the screening.
Film for Thought features both the personal films from each of the nine youth participants as well as projects the that they have done for a variety of community organizations. For this event, participant Jessica Speck has created a new film exploring what Kus-kus-sum and its restoration means to some of the members of our community.
