Description
We will have a booth at the National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations put on by K’ómoks First Nation on June 21st. For more information about the celebration, you can read the press release here. The whole community is invited!
Our booth will highlight the Kus-kus-sum project. We need volunteers to help give out information, play games, and promote volunteering in 2.5 hour shifts. The first shift is setup only and does not involve interacting with the public, but does involve carrying items from a vehicle onto the site and setting up the booth. It should be a fun and engaging event!
