The Wall Party – celebrating a historic milestone

First panel removed ~ Tom Grimmer

Going, going…! 🎉
The removal of the steel wall is officially underway, and that’s something worth celebrating!

Join us for a Wall Party at the Old House on Thursday, January 22nd, where we’ll raise a glass to this major milestone in the restoration journey. Enjoy celebratory drinks and snacks, connect with the people behind the project, and soak in the excitement of this transformative moment.

Representatives from Project Watershed, the City of Courtenay, K’ómoks First Nation, and PPM Civil Constructors will be on hand to answer questions, share stories, and celebrate together. We’ll also be showing photos and video highlights from the restoration process, including up-close and drone footage of the wall removal in action.

Come celebrate progress, partnership, and what’s to come—we’d love to see you there!
