Kate Reid
Director at Large
Kate moved to the Comox Valley with her family in 2022 after living in Vancouver, California, and Edmonton. She earned a degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and later completed a diploma in UX Design from UC Berkeley. She has built her career leading global brand marketing for international entertainment brands. Since she joined Electronic Arts in 2018, she’s translated strategy into meaningful experiences that connect people across multiple gaming communities including The Sims, Battlefield, Mass Effect, and Star Wars.
Kate joined the Project Watershed Board because she believes we live in an interdependent world with a shared responsibility to each other and the environment. She and her husband, Adam, chose to make Vancouver Island home so their daughter Frances could grow up surrounded by the unique beauty of the Comox Valley. Kate is passionate about supporting conservation and restoration efforts that will help ensure the Comox Valley’s natural spaces continue to thrive for generations to come.
In her free time she enjoys reading, live music, film, art, and exploring Vancouver Island with her family.
