We are delighted to share that our annual “Keeping It Living” award has found well-deserved recipients for 2023. Each year, this esteemed award recognizes exceptional individuals or organizations that have displayed exemplary dedication to the protection and restoration of the K’ómoks Estuary and its surrounding environment.
The plants at the Airpark need to be watered, mulched and weeded.
We will be weeding and maintaining our riparian plantings along Glen Urquhart Creek as well as planting a hedgerow to support creek health, provide habitat complexity, and enhance biodiversity.
The Kus-kus-sum project is not without its challenges. The biggest challenge at present is soil quality.
