Comox Valley Project Watershed is holding a Keeping It Living event Thursday, September 21st to launch the fundraising for the purchase and restoration of Kus-kus-sum (the old Field Sawmill). The Kus-kus-sum project will be the main focus of the Keeping It Living Campaign, which aims to raise funds and awareness for the restoration and protection of the K’omoks Estuary, over the next few years. The image for the 2018 campaign will be “Long Road to Comox” by Martha Jablonski-Jones. Jones has donated the $2,700 painting and hopes it will inspire other to contribute to this important cause.

The Old House Hotel and Spa and Quality Foods are sponsoring this event which will take place on the lawn in front of Locals Restaurant at 1730 Riverside Lane, from 5-6:30pm.

Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion.
