“We were very excited to be part (although a small part) of the larger reclamation of the old Field Sawmill site.” stated Mr. Warttig. “ We hope everyone has the opportunity to contribute to this legacy in the heart or our community.”
Project Watershed invites the public onto the site Friday and Saturday August 30 and 31 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Visitors will be able to paint a salmon for a donation of $25 or more, tour the site or play an educational game with their children.
We respectfully acknowledge that we live, work and play within the traditional territory of the K’ómoks Nation.
