Queneesh Elementary hosted an art show Thursday, June 21 for National Indigenous People’s Day.
In addition to showcasing students’ work in Indigenous art, proceeds from art sales will support the Kus-Kus-Sum project, initiated by Project Watershed.
The school was awarded a grant to bring in an Indigenous artist — Curtis Wilson — to support the event.
