Newton the Newt has been challenged to a race by Elasmo the Elasmosaurus of the Courtenay & District Museum this Easter. Come out and cheer these mascots on in front of the Museum, 207 Fourth Street. Rumor has it that the Easter Bunny from Hot Chocolates will be in attendance as well with a few sweet treats in its basket. This fun family-oriented event will also include a petting zoo in the museum, dinosaur egg hunt, face painting, games and crafts for kids, an Easter hat contest and more.
