Project Watershed is taking various school groups down to the Estuary to participate in stewardship activities during the month of May. We need adult volunteers to assist students with planting salt marsh, dune grass, and native plants; water quality monitoring; going on a nature walk; bird monitoring; installing vexar fencing and doing a beach seine. The dates, times and activities are laid out in the schedule below.

Our first session is at Kus-kus-sum on May 9th from 9:00am until noon. We will be touring the site and comparing it to Hollyhock Flats. Please email maps.projectwatershed@gmail.com if you are willing and able to participate for any of the time periods listed.

Tentative Schedule – The dates and times will remain the same but the activities may shift a little
