Paul Horgen (left) of the Comox Valley Project Watershed Society receives a cheque for $1,500 from Creekside Commons Community Services Society (represented by left to right: Pam Munroe, Tim Crossin and Don Munroe) for the Eel Grass project to sequester carbon in the Comox Estuary. This project while removing carbon from the atmosphere also restores our estuary and povides local employment.
