Our Volunteers

are one of our primary strengths

Project Watershed depends heavily on volunteerism and we are honored to have a great team of enthusastic, caring and dedicated volunteers. Volunteers make up our Board of Directors and fill a variety of roles that allow Project Watershed to make positive, long lasting environmental imapcts on our local and global environment.

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with restoration and research activities, educational field trips, event booths and ongoing office related activities.

Volunteering

We are using new volunteer management software called Civic Champs to streamline all aspects of volunteering. Click on the View Calendar and Sign Up button to see upcoming opportunities. Once you select a session for volunteering you will have to register yourself on Civic Champs if you haven’t already. If you have any trouble signing up, please check out our step-by-step tutorial.

Signup note: You need to click on an email that Civic Champs sends you to complete the process. If you don’t see the email in a few minutes after registering check your Spam folder.

Calendar notes:

  • Use the arrows on either side of the month name to advance the calendar and see future volunteer opportunities.
  • If you are viewing an opportunity you can click “Back to Events” at the top left to return to the calendar view.
  • Events that are blue have been filled, events that are yellow are still accepting volunteers

If you are having difficulties contact us at info@projectwatershed.ca.
