Project Watershed would like to thank Kiyoshi Kosky for the $385 donation raised through his fundraising event on January 4th. The event was held at the White Whale and “was a funtastic success” reported Bill Heidrick and Dan Bowen who went representing Project Watershed. They went on to say that “The food was delicious, the music was great and it looked like there were many good deals to be had on the silent auction.”
It is contributions like these that allow Project Watershed to do more for our community. Grant funding is usually project based and does not give us much room to respond to issues, concerns or opportunities that arise suddenly so we are always grateful to our monthly, yearly and occasional donors. We see these donations as our community investing with us in the blue-green infrastructure of the Comox Valley.

If you are holding an event and would consider donating some of the proceedings to Project Watershed or would like to help us spread our message please let us know. We can provide materials on what we are doing, send a presenter or representative and post about the event.
