Jay Baker-French started his career in ecological restoration at Project Watershed after obtaining his Masters from SFU and BCIT in 2020. He has focused especially on estuary conservation and restoration and is enthusiastic about Project Watershed’s many initiatives to protect and restore the K’omoks Estuary and other intertidal habitats in our region. His role at Project Watershed is to support Jennifer Sutherst in her work with the various projects underway. He is excited to bring his expertise in estuary mapping, inventory, and restoration to the Project Watershed team and to help move forward the vision of a community based collaborative approach to restoring ecosystems.
