Description
We have a new and unique volunteer opportunity: washer tying for eelgrass restoration! You can participate in this hands-on activity by emailing Stefanie Lane and stopping by our office to pick up the necessary supplies between 10am – 4pm Monday – Thursday. The best part? You can complete the task at your convenience, on your own time, in your own home! Whether you’re a skilled craftsman or simply eager to lend a hand, washer tying is a fantastic way to contribute. Just remember to return all supplies to our office by the morning of June 8th!

Eelgrass and Kelp Feature – Spring 2025
Spring is nearing its end and just like on land, this time of year is peak growth season for marine plants. With support from the Aquatic Ecosystems Restoration Fund, Project Watershed has been working on two projects to restore eelgrass habitat in Fanny Bay and kelp habitat near Cape Lazo.
