Emily Keller

Emily is a settler with European ancestry raised on the shared territory of the Homalco, Klahoose, K’ómoks, We Wai Kai, and We Wai Kum nations, also known as Quadra Island. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and 10 years’ experience in non-profit leadership, most recently as Executive Director at the Environmental Youth Alliance, an organization delivering land-based education for youth from equity-seeking communities in East Vancouver.

When she’s not working, Emily likes to forage wild food, grow veggies in her garden, go on sailing adventures with her fiance, and play with her endlessly-energetic golden retriever, Hazel.
