Description

Volunteers needed to help staff a booth at the popular River Never Sleeps Festival in Fanny Bay. This is always a well attended event with many things going on – put on by the Fanny Bay Enhancement Society. Last year you could help release juvenile salmon into the Rosewall Creek!

If you have not volunteered at a booth before don’t worry – we will team you up with a more experienced volunteer to show you the ropes and help answer questions. We will also provide each volunteer with links to information about Project Watershed and the Kus-kus-sum project prior to the booth so that they are up to date with what is going on. Volunteers are not expected to know everything about Project Watershed and will be asked to direct students who have in depth questions to contact our staff.

If you love giving out high fives and making people smile, consider volunteering to be our mascot during your shift at this event. We have a one-size-fits-all newt suit that always gets lots of attention!
