Ben Kingstone

Ben grew up in Shawnigan Lake, BC, and is a partner at the Comox Valley law firm, Swift Datoo LLP. In his work as a family lawyer, Ben has many years of experience advocating for clients and their families, and pursuing sustainable outcomes in and out of court. Ben has also spent significant time in Quebec and Russia, and is fluent in French and Russian.

Law is all about relationships, and what attracted Ben to Project Watershed was the organization’s commitment to relationships with local stewards, and restoring relationships with the environment through habitat restoration.

Ben enjoys fishing, hunting and conservation. He can usually be found on the trails around Cumberland, thinking about how to bring more bees to his garden.
