Casey Doucet

Restoration and Monitoring Coordinator

Casey Doucet is an environmental scientist who joined the Project Watershed team in August 2024 as a Restoration and Monitoring Coordinator. After spending most of her life in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq, she is now based within the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples. Casey holds an M.A.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Dalhousie University, where she conducted research exploring the relationship between urban development and lake water quality. Her past work has focused on microplastic pollution in freshwater mussels, forest reclamation, and water quality impacts associated with large-scale construction projects. Casey is eager to apply her passion for nature and scientific expertise to support the conservation and restoration of local ecosystems in her role with Project Watershed.
