We will start this event off by recognizing our outstanding volunteers from 2024. We depend on volunteers for running information booths, assisting with educational field trips, planting at Kus-kus-sum, surveying beaches for eggs and more. This is an in-person chance for us to say THANK YOU for all the time and energy that our community puts into our environmental activities.
Following our celebration of 2024, we will share information about our organization, this year’s activities, answer questions, perform hands on demonstrations, and provide signup forms for future activities. There will also be a chance to hear from volunteers about their experiences volunteering with us.
Demonstrations:
- Salt Water Wedge
- Salmon v Seals Game
- Fishy Pinball Game
- Forage Fish Surveying
We have a number of volunteer opportunities coming up this year and need all the help we can get to make each activity a success. We hope that this session entices you to volunteer with us this year as either a new, or returning, volunteer.
