Working with the K’ómoks Nation towards Q’waq’wala7owkw on their unceded territory.

Project Watershed in partnership with CV Nature and the Courtenay Air Park Association are hosting an Earth Day Planting Event on Saturday April 22nd. This is a call out for volunteers to help with the removal of invasive species and replanting of indigenous plants along the Courtenay Lagoon at the Airpark.

Please bring work cloths, a shovel/or garden shears, and gloves, water, snacks or lunch. Watch the weather and dress accordingly.
There is much work to be done in this area. More planting opportunities will be posted in the near future.
