Location
Meeting at the Condensory Bridge (Condensory Rd). Locations may vary depending on week (Jan 25, 2023 Meet at Courtenay Marine Park off of 20th)
Description
Join Jay and Virginia from Project watershed for our first Kus-kus-sum citizen science monitoring project with Seal or Pinniped monitoring at various locations from Condensory Road Bridge toward Kus-kus-sum along the Courtenay River Estuary. Seals play an important role in the ecosystem and we are beginning our citizen science projects that allow volunteers to play a role in monitoring Kus-kus-sum. Dress for the weather, if you have binoculars bring them along, all other equipment will be supplied, an option to carpool will also be available.
