Description

Fall is finally here, and we’re finally ready to plant! We’re expecting over 2,000 new plants to arrive in October, and we need our wonderful volunteers to help get everything in the ground. We’ll be planting a variety of riparian and tidal marsh species this fall: each day we’ll focus on a specific area of the site to achieve our planting goals. For folks with mobility considerations or eager young helpers, we strongly recommend signing up for a “riparian” planting day, as these areas pose the least hazards and best opportunities for an enjoyable event. We’ll have snacks, water, and a portable toilet available on-site for all dates.

No experience necessary; these events are suitable for ages ~12+ (younger participants are allowed, but each child must be accompanied by a guardian at all times). We also ask that pets of any kind, except service animals, are not brought onto the site.
