Remembering Micah and Honoring his Legacy at Kus-kus-sum
The family of Micah Messent would like to announce their support of the Kus-kus-sum restoration project, and Project Watershed, through the creation of the Micah Messent Legacy Fund. The fund will support the restoration of Kus-kus-sum and Project Watershed’s work to further Micah’s legacy within and beyond the Comox Valley.
Karate is helping unpave paradise at Kus-kus-sum
On June 30, the students and instructors of Toshikan Traditional Karate and Kobudo, in Courtenay, completed 108 kata (kata is a series of self-defence techniques combined in a traditional form) as fundraiser for the Kus-Kus-Sum project, in appreciation of Project Watershed’s good work for natural habitat of the valley and the estuary.
