Brodie Guy is driven to uplift people who are creating positive change. He has dedicated his career to Indigenous-led conservation and sustainable development in rural regions throughout British Columbia, Canada.

He is currently the CEO of Island Coastal Economic Trust and has served in leadership roles with trusts and foundations where has facilitated the investment of more than $150 million into the start-up of numerous companies and entrepreneurial ventures, strategic business acquisitions by First Nations, the construction of major infrastructure and renewable energy projects, science and research initiatives, habitat restoration projects, and the start-up of the majority of Indigenous Guardian and stewardship programs now operating across B.C.’s coast.

He and his partner Jessica are grateful that their three young children are growing up in the beautiful ancestral territories of the Pəntl’áč, E’ikᵂsɘn, and K’ómoks peoples, commonly known today as the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island.

Brodie serves as the acting Chair and Vice Chair of the new $200 million Blueberry River Restoration Society that is investing in ecological and cultural restoration of Blueberry River territories across northeast British Columbia, as a Canadian Commissioner of the international Skagit Environmental Endowment Commission, as a director of the national Indigenous charity The Circle on Philanthropy, and as a director of the private company, Inside Passage Marine Corp. which is restoring a former cannery site in the Great Bear Rainforest.
