Gifts of retirement plans are made when you name the Comox Valley Project Watershed Society as a beneficiary. This means that upon your death Project Watershed would receive the proceeds and your estate will receive a charitable receipt. This receipt will counterbalance your final tax return, transforming some or all of the final tax liabilities you have when you die into a charitable gift.
Life Insurance

Securities
You can easily donate some of your investment shares to Project Watershed and we will receive the cash value to complete our projects. The Coastal Community Private Wealth Group will waive the fees if you donate your shares through them. Otherwise you can use Canada Helps. To get a tax receipt for the current year you need to complete the process by mid December.
Greeting Cards
Either stop by our office or catch us at an event and you can choose a Keeping It Living Collection Art Card and a Kus-kus-sum Habitat Certificate to the value of your donation to gift to someone else.
Print at Home Cards
Donate money in someone`s name and you receive a printable card in your email. You then print and fold this card and give it to the recipient. Each card image relates to a donation level.
E Card
Donate money in someone`s name and they receive a meaningful e-card. E-cards will be delivered on the date you specify.
Gift Cards from Project Watershed
With our alternative gift cards you can make a donation in someone’s name instead of getting them a traditional gift.
Business Sponsorship
Project Watershed is looking for contributions from businesses to support our Keeping it Living initiatives. This includes the purchase and restoration of the Kus-kus-sum site and general outreach and education.
