Kathy Haigh
Kathy moved to the Comox Valley in 2015 after being a life-long Albertan (except for 2 years in Texas). She is a born-again British Colombian now, and also considers herself a late-blooming environmentalist.
The outdoors figure greatly in Kathy’s activities. She especially enjoys gardening, kayaking, cycling and walking in the beautiful local forest and seaside trails and beaches. Kathy also likes to travel and has an interest in other cultures and environments.
Kathy’s education is in Human Resources/Business Administration and Communications Studies. The majority of her work has been charitable volunteering, after a base in business. During numerous community, support and service group projects Kathy has enhanced her volunteer management, communications, leadership and organizational skills. She joined the Project Watershed Board of Directors in 2016, and took on the role of Chair in November 2021.
