The plants at the Airpark need to be watered, mulched and weeded.
Planting and Maintenance at Glen Urquhart
We will be weeding and maintaining our riparian plantings along Glen Urquhart Creek as well as planting a hedgerow to support creek health, provide habitat complexity, and enhance biodiversity.
Fall 2023 Plant Maintenance at Kus-kus-sum
September restoration events will focus on weeding, mulching, pruning, and preparing for October planting.
Fall Shoreline Cleanup
Beach cleanup time! We are looking for people to choose a beach area from the map and pick up any garbage they find there. We will do this as a decentralized cleanup, meaning that you and your group will pick a 1.5 to 2 km section of shoreline or riverway over which to hunt for garbage and other groups will pick other sections.
Family Watershed Day
Project Watershed, along with other Comox Valley Conservation Partners, are putting together an interactive family friendly event focused on watersheds. We are looking for people to help setup/teardown and manage our booth and the kids tent at this event.
