Technician Tuesday Report – In-Stream Construction at Glen Urquhart – August 9
The crew worked at Glen Urquhart every day last week! Construction of the riffles was in full swing and was the main focus for Cain and Renée. Jay, who has been leading the restoration of the creek, provided help and guidance during each step.

Technician Tuesday Report – Clean BC Photo Shoot and Pole Seining – August 2
Happy Technician Tuesday! The week started off with a fun photo shoot with The Now Group showcasing our work at Kus-kus-sum for Clean BC, a provincial program to achieve the Province’s legislated climate targets. After the shoot, extensive weeding of Kus-kus-sum occupied the team for the rest of the afternoon.

Kus-kus-sum Restoration Plans 2022
The Kus-kus-sum project made great progress last year and large scale changes are planned to continue this year. We held a forum to share our restoration plans mid June, and have posted much of that information here as well. If you missed the virtual meeting, you can watch the recording on this page.
Sponsoring a Salmon is back to help restore Kus-kus-sum
We are running the Sponsor a Salmon Fundraiser again this year to fill up the Kus-kus-sum fence and raise funds to complete the restoration.

Project Watershed’s 2022 Annual General Report
Thank you to all our members, board, staff, and community supporters for making 2021-2022 Project Watershed’s biggest year yet! We managed and coordinated 5 different restoration projects, our Keeping It Living Dinner, brought in $1.8 million dollars in grants, and started restoration on our largest project to date, Kus-kus-sum.
